When I was 8, I surprised my older friend Adam at his house after school by climbing through his window. He was listening to “Shiny Happy People” by REM. Being that Adam religiously listened to AC/DC, I was quite surprised and confused by his song choice. Adam looked at me very seriously and said “If you ever tell anyone about this, I’ll beat the shit out of you”. He moved back to Yugoslavia, so it’s probably cool now.
